Hysteroscopy

The term Hysteroscopy refers to a minimal surgical procedure that used a thin, lighted camera. It was used to diagnose inside a uterus, which was passed through a vagina and cervix. It was used during a diagnosis and also combined with treatment at the same time. It helps to find out any abnormal uterine bleeding (between periods or after menopause) and is also used to treat misplaced intrauterine devices (IUDs). This process is undergone in a Diagnostic Hysteroscopy. removing polyps or fibroids and cutting scar tissue (e.g., Asherman’s syndrome), and endometrial ablation for heavy bleeding. During this procedure, it may lead to little cramping and light bleeding. Hysteroscopy used to diagnose and cure inside the uterus through the thin lighted camera.

Our Procedure for Hysteroscopy Will Include:

  • The patient lies on a bed similar to a pelvic exam. This position helps to get an easy space to insert a telescope (hysteroscopy).
  • First, they numb the cervix to reduce pain from the injection touching or stretching the cervix.
  • Next, they dilate the cervix to expand it during this Hysteroscopy Procedure. Thin metal rods slowly increase the opening.
  • A hysteroscope is inserted to expand the uterus with the help of saline or gas.
  • After inserting the hysteroscope through the thin lighted camera, the real images of the hysteroscopy appeared on the monitor.
  • This treatment typically takes 10-30 minutes and may take an hour during a Hysteroscopy Surgery

  •             The process of hysteroscopy was a thin, lighted instrument with a camera that was inserted in the uterus through the cervix and vagina to look at what is happening inside the uterus. It can be done fully. Diagnoses are also combined with treatment. after the treatment you feel mild cramps and also a light bleeding for a for few days, which is normal, and if the pain is abnormal, you should take medication; otherwise, it leads to severe issues. After the treatments, things to avoid were exercise, and if it was bleeding, don’t use tampons, and also avoid intimacy after the treatment. For hysteroscopy treatment, Dr. Aravind’s IVF Fertility Center was the Best IVF Center with specialist staff.
